Feature

The 884-FC Fiber Adapter accommodates optical fibers terminated with FC/PC connectors. The adapter is directly screwed on the detector head or on the 884 Series attenuator. The typical distance from the fiber ferrule tip to the detector surface is approximately 4.57 mm (0.18 in.) for -SL and -UV detectors, and 2.54 mm (0.1 in.) for -IR and -IG detectors. It is included in 818-xx-L-FC/DB detector and can be used as an accessory to any of the Newport 818-xx-L, 818, 918D Series Low-Power Photodetectors, and legacy 918 Series detectors.
