NorthLab CL-01-01000 ProCleave LD– Large Diameter Fiber Cleaver
The NorthLab ProCleave LD is a fiber cleaver for large diame- ter fibers up to 550 μm. The ProCleave LD is specifically de- signed for use in production lines where ease-of-use, process speed and a high production yield is crucial. The cleaver is at the same time well suited for R&D environments.
ProCleave LD generates very flat end-faces and low cleave angles (typical <0.5°) with a high repeatability . The cleavers small size and low weight makes it ideal for a work bench, to be used side-by-side with fusion splicers and other prepara- tion tools.
The ProCleave LD can facilitate fiber holders from different brands of fusion splicers, such as Fitel, Fujikura and 3SAE. The cleaver can also be operated with bare fibers without use of fiber holders. The simple and robust design ensures low- maintenance and a trouble-free use.
The ProCleave LD has an integrated “back stop” which pro- vides enhanced cleave performance for structured and dou- ble cladding fibers.
